Description

Ingredients

2 slices of bread (white, whole wheat, sourdough, etc.)

2 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened

23 slices of cheese (cheddar, American, or your choice)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Spread softened butter evenly on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Assemble the sandwich with the cheese slices between the unbuttered sides of the bread, buttered sides facing out.
  4. Place the sandwich in the air fryer basket. Use a parchment liner if desired to prevent sticking.
  5. Air fry for 4-5 minutes, flip the sandwich, and cook for another 3-4 minutes, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  6. Let the grilled cheese cool for 1-2 minutes before slicing and serving.
