1 store-bought angel food cake

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 tbsp ground cinnamon

Vegetable oil, for frying


Instructions

  1. Cut the angel food cake into bite-sized cubes.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon until well combined.
  3. Heat about 1 inch of vegetable oil in a deep skillet or saucepan over medium heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
  4. Working in batches, fry the angel food cake cubes in the hot oil for 1-2 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
