Ingredients

1 can of buttermilk biscuits

1 can apple pie filling

1/2 cup butter, melted

1/2 cup brown sugar

1 tablespoon cinnamon

1/8 teaspoon nutmeg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Icing:

1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar

1 tablespoon milk


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a pan or skillet.
  2. In a bowl, mix the brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. Dip each biscuit in the melted butter and cover all sides with the sugar mixture. Arrange the biscuits in the prepared pan.
  4. Chop the apple pie filling into smaller pieces and mix in the vanilla extract. Arrange the apple filling over the biscuits.
  5. Sprinkle any remaining sugar mixture over the top and drizzle with the remaining melted butter.
  6. Bake for 35 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
  7. To make the icing, mix the confectioners’ sugar and milk until smooth. Drizzle over the warm biscuits before serving.
