Ingredients

Crust:

1 cup crushed graham crackers

1/4 cup melted butter

1/4 cup sugar

Cream Cheese Layer:

16 oz cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup sugar

2 eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

Topping:

2 bananas, sliced

1/2 cup caramel sauce


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix the crushed graham crackers, melted butter, and sugar. Press the mixture into the base of the prepared baking dish. Bake for 10 minutes and cool.
  3. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust, spreading evenly.
  5. Arrange banana slices over the cream cheese layer and drizzle with caramel sauce.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden and the center is set.
  7. Cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before slicing into bars.

Notes

Brush banana slices with lemon juice to prevent browning.
