Description

Ingredients

For the Crust:

1 and 1/2 cups Graham cracker crumbs

1/4 cup Granulated sugar

1/2 cup Unsalted butter, melted

For the Cheesecake Filling:

24 oz Cream cheese, softened

1 cup Granulated sugar

3 Large eggs

1 cup Sour cream

1/4 cup Bourbon

1 tsp Vanilla extract

For the Bourbon Caramel Sauce:

1 cup Granulated sugar

1/4 cup Water

1/2 cup Heavy cream

2 tbsp Bourbon

2 tbsp Unsalted butter

Pinch of salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C) and prepare a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. Make the crust by combining graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press into the bottom of the pan and bake for 10 minutes.
  3. Prepare the cheesecake filling by beating cream cheese and sugar, then adding eggs, sour cream, bourbon, and vanilla.
  4. Pour filling over the cooled crust and bake in a water bath for 60-70 minutes.
  5. Make the bourbon caramel sauce by cooking sugar and water until amber, then whisking in cream, bourbon, butter, and salt.
  6. Once the cheesecake is chilled, pour the caramel sauce over the top.

Notes

Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature for optimal results.

Use a water bath to prevent the cheesecake from cracking.

Refrigerate the cheesecake for at least 4 hours before serving.
