Description

Caramel Apple Pretzel Bites are the perfect sweet and salty snack for fall gatherings. Combining crunchy pretzels, tart apples, and rich caramel, these bite-sized treats are drizzled with white chocolate for an irresistible flavor. Ideal for parties or a quick snack, they’re easy to make and a crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients

50 small pretzels

25 soft caramels, unwrapped

1/2 cup finely diced apple pieces (firm, tart variety)

1/2 cup white chocolate chips or candy melts

1/4 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

1/4 cup crushed pretzels or nuts (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 250°F (120°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Arrange half of the pretzels on the baking sheet and top each with a caramel.
  3. Bake for 4-5 minutes until caramels are soft.
  4. Press a small piece of diced apple onto each caramel, then top with another pretzel to form a sandwich.
  5. Melt white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring until smooth.
  6. Drizzle melted white chocolate over the pretzel bites. Sprinkle with cinnamon and garnish with crushed pretzels or nuts if desired.
  7. Allow to cool and set before serving.

Notes

Use Granny Smith apples for a tart contrast to the sweet caramel.

Store in an airtight container to keep the pretzels crisp.

You can substitute dark or milk chocolate for a different flavor profile.
