Ingredients
50 small pretzels
25 soft caramels, unwrapped
1/2 cup finely diced apple pieces (firm, tart variety)
1/2 cup white chocolate chips or candy melts
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
1/4 cup crushed pretzels or nuts (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 250°F (120°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Arrange half of the pretzels on the baking sheet and top each with a caramel.
- Bake for 4-5 minutes until caramels are soft.
- Press a small piece of diced apple onto each caramel, then top with another pretzel to form a sandwich.
- Melt white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring until smooth.
- Drizzle melted white chocolate over the pretzel bites. Sprinkle with cinnamon and garnish with crushed pretzels or nuts if desired.
- Allow to cool and set before serving.
Notes
Use Granny Smith apples for a tart contrast to the sweet caramel.
