Description

Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter, melted

2 cups sugar

4 large eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup cocoa powder

1/2 tsp salt

1 cup chocolate chunks

1 cup caramel sauce

Sea salt flakes (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Whisk melted butter and sugar in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Stir in eggs and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Sift in flour, cocoa powder, and salt; gently mix until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
  5. Fold in chocolate chunks.
  6. Spread half of the batter into the prepared pan. Drizzle caramel sauce over the batter.
  7. Top with the remaining batter and smooth with a spatula.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until edges are set and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  9. Sprinkle sea salt flakes on top, if desired.
