Ingredients
1 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 cups sugar
4 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup cocoa powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup chocolate chunks
1 cup caramel sauce
Sea salt flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
- Whisk melted butter and sugar in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
- Stir in eggs and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Sift in flour, cocoa powder, and salt; gently mix until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
- Fold in chocolate chunks.
- Spread half of the batter into the prepared pan. Drizzle caramel sauce over the batter.
- Top with the remaining batter and smooth with a spatula.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until edges are set and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
