Ingredients
1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream (chilled)
2 tbsp powdered sugar (or to taste)
1 tsp pure vanilla extract (or vanilla bean paste)
Instructions
- Chill the Equipment:
Refrigerate the mixing bowl and whisk (or beaters) for 15–20 minutes to ensure faster whipping and a better texture. - Combine Ingredients:
In the chilled bowl, combine heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. - Whip the Cream:
Beat the mixture on medium speed until soft peaks form. Avoid overwhipping to prevent a grainy texture. - Serve:

Notes
For a stabilized version, add 1 tsp cornstarch or 1/2 tsp dissolved unflavored gelatin before whipping.
