A rich and creamy twist on classic lasagna, Cheesy Chicken Alfredo Lasagna combines tender chicken, indulgent Alfredo sauce, and layers of gooey cheese for a comforting, crowd-pleasing dish perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.
Ingredients
9 lasagna noodles, cooked and drained
2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
2 cups Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
2 cups ricotta cheese
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Mix ricotta cheese, egg, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning in a medium bowl.
- Spread a thin layer of Alfredo sauce on the bottom of the dish and place 3 lasagna noodles on top.
- Layer 1/3 of the ricotta mixture, 1/3 of the chicken, 1/3 of the Alfredo sauce, and 1/3 of the mozzarella cheese over the noodles.
- Repeat layers two more times, ending with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 15 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
- Let cool for 10 minutes, garnish with parsley, and serve.
Notes
For extra creaminess, use homemade Alfredo sauce made with butter, garlic, cream, and Parmesan.
Substitute chicken with vegetables for a vegetarian version.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
