Ingredients
1/2 cup (120g) cocoa powder
1/4 cup (60ml) melted coconut oil
1/4 cup (50g) maple syrup or honey
Instructions
- Sift the cocoa powder into a medium mixing bowl to remove any lumps.
- Add melted coconut oil to the bowl, stirring until smooth and glossy.
- Gradually incorporate the sweetener (maple syrup or honey) and adjust to taste.
- Pour the mixture into a silicone mold, lined baking dish, or onto parchment paper.
- Chill in the refrigerator for 20–30 minutes until fully set.
- Break or cut into pieces and serve. Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
Notes
For firmer chocolate, add a tablespoon of cocoa butter or reduce the sweetener slightly.
This chocolate softens at room temperature, so keep it chilled for best texture.
Perfect for add-ins like nuts, dried fruits, or shredded coconut.
