This decadent recipe combines the gooey texture of brownies with the creamy sweetness of chocolate chip cookie dough, all wrapped in a luscious chocolate shell. Perfect for chocolate lovers and a hit at any gathering, these treats are surprisingly easy to make. Follow our simple instructions to create a dessert that’s as impressive as it is delicious. Ideal for special occasions, or when you need a luxurious chocolate fix.

Ingredients

¾ cup butter, softened

¾ cup brown sugar

¼ cup white sugar

2 Tbsp milk

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 cups all-purpose flour

Pinch of salt

2 cups miniature chocolate chips, divided

1 pkg fudge brownie mix, baked and cooled

1 pkg Candiquik or chocolate almond bark

Instructions

  1. Cream together butter and sugars until smooth. Blend in milk and vanilla.
  2. Gradually add flour and salt to form a soft dough. Stir in 1 cup mini chocolate chips.
  3. Form dough balls and freeze on a baking sheet for 1 hour.
  4. Wrap dough balls with brownie squares and freeze again for 30 minutes.
  5. Melt Candiquik or almond bark and dip each bomb, placing them on foil.
  6. Sprinkle with remaining chocolate chips and chill until set.

Notes

Heat-treating flour before use can make the cookie dough safe to eat.

For a thinner chocolate shell, let the dipped bombs sit at room temperature for a few minutes before chilling.
