Ingredients
1 cup heavy cream
4 ounces dark chocolate (60-70% cocoa), chopped
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 pinch salt

Instructions
- In a small saucepan, heat 1/2 cup of heavy cream over low heat until warm but not boiling.
- Remove from heat and add the chopped dark chocolate. Let sit for 1 minute, then stir until smooth.
- Stir in the sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Let the mixture cool to room temperature.
- In a separate bowl, whip the remaining 1/2 cup of heavy cream until soft peaks form.
