1/4 cup light brown sugar
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
For the glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2–3 tablespoons milk
Instructions
- Make the Dough: Beat butter, granulated sugar, and powdered sugar until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well. Gradually stir in flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Roll and Chill: Roll the dough into a rectangle. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Make the Filling: Mix softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
- Spread and Roll: Spread the filling over the dough, roll it up, and chill for another 30 minutes.
- Slice and Bake: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the dough and bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Make the Glaze: Mix powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and milk until smooth.
- Drizzle and Serve: Drizzle the glaze over the cooled cookies and enjoy!
