1/2 cup packed brown sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoons milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
 - In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
 - Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
 - In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until well combined.
 - Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet, spaced about 2 inches apart.
 - In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon to create the cinnamon swirl.
 - Using the back of a spoon or your thumb, make an indentation in the center of each cookie dough ball. Fill each indentation with the cinnamon swirl mixture.
 - Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cookies are set and lightly golden around the edges.
 - Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
 - In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar and milk to create the glaze. Drizzle the glaze over the cooled cookies.
 
Notes
For a richer flavor, you can add a teaspoon of cinnamon to the cookie dough.
If you prefer a thicker glaze, reduce the amount of milk.
