Indulge in the rich and comforting flavors of our Creamy Garlic Butter Chicken, a recipe that perfectly combines juicy chicken breasts with a luscious garlic butter sauce. Made with simple ingredients and easy-to-follow instructions, this dish is ideal for anyone looking to add a touch of elegance to their mealtime. Whether you’re hosting a dinner party or simply craving a decadent dinner, this creamy chicken recipe promises to impress.

Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 tablespoon olive oil

3 tablespoons butter

5 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup chicken broth

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

2 cups spinach leaves

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until golden brown on each side, about 5-7 minutes per side. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Stir in chicken broth, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Bring to a simmer.
  5. Add spinach to the sauce and cook until wilted, about 2-3 minutes.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning the sauce over it. Cook for an additional 5 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened.

Notes

For a lighter version of the sauce, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half or a mixture of milk and flour.

Ensure chicken is cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) for safe consumption.

Can be made gluten-free by using gluten-free broth and thickening agents if needed.
