Ingredients
1 lb (450 g) ground beef
1 small onion, diced
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 tbsp olive oil or butter
1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream
1 cup (240 ml) whole milk
1 cup (100 g) grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
8 oz (225 g) pasta (fettuccine, penne, or pasta of choice)
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
- Drain and set aside.
- Cook the Ground Beef
- Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add ground beef and cook, breaking it apart with a spoon, until browned (6-8 minutes).
- Drain excess fat if necessary, then set the beef aside.
- Prepare the Alfredo Sauce
- In the same skillet, sauté onion and garlic until softened (2-3 minutes).
- Stir in heavy cream, milk, garlic powder, and onion powder. Simmer for 3-4 minutes.
- Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Combine the Beef and Pasta
- Return ground beef to the skillet with the Alfredo sauce. Stir to combine.
- Add drained pasta and toss until evenly coated.
- Serve
- Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
