Description

Crockpot Chicken and Stuffing is a comforting, family-friendly recipe combining tender chicken, savory stuffing, and green beans. This easy one-pot meal is perfect for busy days, offering hearty flavors with minimal prep.

Ingredients

1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup

1 (6 oz) box stuffing mix

¾ cup water

1 (16 oz) bag frozen green beans

34 large chicken breasts, seasoned with salt and pepper

½ cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crockpot: Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper and place them in the crockpot.
  2. Mix the Stuffing: In a bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, stuffing mix, sour cream, and half of the water. Stir well.
  3. Layer the Ingredients: Spread the stuffing mixture over the chicken, then add the frozen green beans on top. Pour the remaining water over the green beans.
  4. Cook:
    • High: 4 hours
    • Low: 6-7 hours
Stir the stuffing occasionally for even cooking.
  5. Serve: Dish up with mashed potatoes or another side of your choice.

Notes

Adjust the cooking time if using fresh chicken instead of frozen.

To keep the stuffing from getting too soggy, leave the lid slightly ajar during the last 30 minutes of cooking.

Customize the vegetables to suit your family’s preferences.
