Ingredients
1 box (18 oz) brownie mix (plus eggs, oil, and water as needed)
1 cup chocolate chips or chocolate candy melts
1 tablespoon vegetable oil (optional)
Sprinkles, cocoa powder, or chopped nuts (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Bake the Brownies
Prepare and bake brownies according to package instructions in a 9×13-inch pan. Let cool completely. - Form the Truffles
Roll cooled brownies into 1-inch balls. If crumbly, press them firmly together. Place on a parchment-lined sheet. - Chill
Refrigerate for 20-30 minutes to firm. - Melt the Chocolate
Microwave chocolate in 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Stir in vegetable oil for a silkier texture. - Dip the Brownie Balls
Coat each ball in melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off. Return to parchment. - Decorate and Set
Add sprinkles or toppings before chocolate hardens. Let truffles set at room temperature or refrigerate for 10-15 minutes. - Serve and Store
Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
Notes
