Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

2 tablespoons olive oil or butter

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional)

Salt and pepper, to taste

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

1 cup chicken broth

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat. Season chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika (if using), salt, and pepper.
  2. Sear chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. Reduce heat to low and add softened cream cheese to the skillet, stirring until it begins to melt.
  4. Gradually whisk in chicken broth to create a smooth sauce.
  5. Stir in Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Return chicken to the skillet, spooning sauce over it. Cover and cook on low heat for 10-15 minutes, until fully cooked.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.

Notes

For extra flavor, add red pepper flakes or fresh garlic.

Serve over pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes for a complete meal.
