Ingredients

1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust (homemade or store-bought)

1 can (15 oz) pumpkin purée

1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk

3/4 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

1/2 teaspoon salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the pumpkin purée, evaporated milk, sugar, eggs, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and salt until smooth.
  3. Pour the pumpkin mixture into the unbaked pie crust, spreading it evenly.
  4. Place the pie on a baking sheet and bake at 425°F (220°C) for 15 minutes. Then, reduce the oven temperature to 350°F (175°C) and continue baking for 40-50 minutes, or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.

Notes
