Description

This Easy Tiramisu is a delightful no-bake Italian dessert featuring layers of coffee-soaked ladyfingers, creamy mascarpone cheese, and a dusting of cocoa powder. Perfect for any occasion, this simple yet indulgent treat is made with minimal effort and is sure to impress.


Ingredients

1 cup heavy cream

8 oz mascarpone cheese

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 1/2 cups strong brewed coffee, cooled

2 tablespoons coffee liqueur (optional)

2430 ladyfingers

Unsweetened cocoa powder, for dusting

Dark chocolate shavings (optional)


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Set aside.
  2. In another bowl, beat the mascarpone cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  3. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until fully combined.
  4. In a shallow dish, combine the cooled coffee with the coffee liqueur, if using.
  5. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy. Arrange them in a single layer at the bottom of a 9×9-inch dish.
  6. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  7. Add another layer of coffee-soaked ladyfingers on top of the mascarpone layer.
  8. Spread the remaining mascarpone mixture over the second layer of ladyfingers.
  9. Cover and refrigerate the tiramisu for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
  10. Before serving, dust the top generously with cocoa powder and garnish with dark chocolate shavings, if desired.

Notes

For a non-alcoholic version, omit the coffee liqueur.

Cream cheese can be used as a substitute for mascarpone cheese.

To avoid soggy ladyfingers, dip them quickly in the coffee mixture.
