Ingredients

2 tablespoons soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)

1 teaspoon rice vinegar

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

2 green onions, sliced

1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Heat sesame oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add ground chicken or turkey and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.
  3. Stir in onion, garlic, and ginger. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add shredded cabbage and carrots, stirring to combine.
  5. Pour in chicken broth, soy sauce, rice vinegar, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  6. Bring to a simmer and cook for 10-15 minutes, until vegetables are tender.
  7. Remove from heat and stir in green onions.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds.
