Description

Ingredients

Main Cocoa:

4 cups whole milk

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup white chocolate chips or chopped white chocolate

2 tbsp granulated sugar (optional)

1 tsp vanilla extract

A few drops of blue food coloring

For Garnish:

Whipped cream

White chocolate shavings, sprinkles, or edible glitter (optional)


Instructions

  1. Heat the Milk and Cream:
    Combine the milk and heavy cream in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir occasionally until steaming, but do not boil.
  2. Melt the White Chocolate:
    Lower the heat and add white chocolate chips. Stir until fully melted and smooth.
  3. Sweeten and Flavor:
    Add granulated sugar (if desired) and vanilla extract. Mix thoroughly.
  4. Add Blue Color:
    Remove from heat and stir in blue food coloring, adjusting drops until the desired hue is achieved.
  5. Serve:
    Pour into mugs, top with whipped cream, and add garnish such as white chocolate shavings, sprinkles, or edible glitter.

Notes

For a dairy-free version, substitute milk and cream with almond, oat, or coconut milk, and use dairy-free white chocolate.

To make a chilled version, refrigerate the cocoa and serve over ice.

Add a fruity twist with a drop of blue raspberry extract for added flavor.
