Ingredients
1 1/2 lbs sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 Tbsp olive oil
4 Tbsp unsalted butter, divided
5 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp fresh thyme, chopped
1 tsp fresh rosemary, chopped
1 tsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Season the steak cubes generously with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the steak cubes in a single layer, cooking in batches if necessary. Sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the steak bites and set aside.
- Reduce heat to medium. In the same skillet, add 2 tablespoons of butter. Once melted, add minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter along with the thyme, rosemary, and parsley. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until the herbs are fragrant and the butter is melted.
- Return the steak bites to the skillet, tossing to coat them evenly in the garlic butter sauce.
- Serve immediately, garnished with additional fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
Adjust seasoning and herbs based on personal preference.
For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the garlic butter sauce.
