Description

Experience the perfect blend of fresh herbs, garlic, and butter with this Herbed Garlic Bread recipe. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, this easy-to-make garlic bread is the ideal side dish for any Italian meal or hearty soup. Perfectly seasoned and ready in just 22 minutes, it’s a must-have for garlic bread lovers.

Ingredients

1 loaf French bread, halved lengthwise

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped

1 tablespoon fresh oregano, chopped

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Spread the butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of the French bread.
  4. If desired, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the top.
  5. Place the bread halves on a baking sheet, cut side up.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden and crispy around the edges.
  7. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

For a cheesy twist, sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the bread before baking.

Leftovers can be stored at room temperature for up to two days or frozen for up to three months.

For a vegan version, use dairy-free butter and skip the Parmesan cheese.
