Ingredients
4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Lemon wedges and fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, minced garlic, and smoked paprika.
- Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet and sear for 2-3 minutes.
- Flip the salmon and brush the tops generously with the honey glaze.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Garnish with lemon wedges and parsley before serving.
Notes
For a spicier glaze, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
If you don’t have an oven-safe skillet, transfer the salmon to a baking dish after searing.
