Ingredients

4 cod fillets

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

Juice of 1 lemon

Zest of 1 lemon

1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Salt and pepper to taste

Lemon wedges (for serving)


Instructions

  1. Pat the cod fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add cod fillets and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown and flaky. Remove from skillet and set aside.
