3 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

For the Topping:

1 cup breadcrumbs

2 tbsp butter, melted

1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

1/2 tsp paprika


Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta:
    • Cook elbow macaroni in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Make the Sauce:
    • Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat.
    • Whisk in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.
    • Gradually whisk in milk and cream until smooth and thickened.
    • Stir in Dijon mustard, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

    • Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in cheddar, mozzarella, and Parmesan until melted and creamy.
  4. Combine Pasta and Sauce:
    • Mix cooked pasta with cheese sauce and transfer to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  5. Prepare the Topping:
    • Combine breadcrumbs, melted butter, Parmesan, and paprika in a small bowl. Sprinkle evenly over pasta.
