Ingredients
3 cups all-purpose flour

1 1/2 teaspoons salt
3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks, 180 g) butter, chilled
1 1/4 cups (300 mL) chilled buttermilk
Instructions

Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, and salt.

Cut chilled butter into small cubes and work into dry ingredients using a pastry cutter or your fingers until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
