Ingredients
2½ cups sugar
½ cup evaporated milk
½ cup corn syrup
½ cup butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
2–2½ cups chopped pecans
2½ cups grated coconut
Instructions
- Set the pecans, coconut, and vanilla aside.
- In a large saucepan, combine the sugar, evaporated milk, corn syrup, and butter. Bring to a rolling boil and cook for 3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in the pecans, coconut, and vanilla. Mix well for about 4 minutes.
- Drop spoonfuls of the batter onto wax paper. Allow to set until hardened.
- Once set, remove from wax paper and enjoy!
