Description

This One-Pot Honey Garlic Chicken and Noodles recipe is the perfect balance of sweet, savory, and garlicky flavors. Juicy chicken and tender egg noodles are cooked together in a rich honey soy sauce, making this a quick and easy meal for busy weeknights. With minimal cleanup and bold flavors, this dish is a family favorite!

Ingredients

2 chicken breasts, diced

2 tbsp olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cup honey

2 tbsp soy sauce

1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

2 cups chicken broth

8 oz egg noodles

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Chicken – Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add diced chicken and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Add Garlic & Sauce Ingredients – Stir in minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant. Add honey, soy sauce, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  3. Simmer with Noodles – Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Stir in the egg noodles. Cover and cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the noodles are tender and the sauce has thickened.
  4. Final Seasoning & Serve – Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Make it Spicy – Add more red pepper flakes or a drizzle of sriracha.

Protein Swap – Use shrimp, beef, or tofu instead of chicken.

Noodle Variations – Try udon, rice noodles, or spaghetti.

Vegetable Boost – Stir in bell peppers, snap peas, or carrots for extra nutrients.

Gluten-Free Option – Use tamari instead of soy sauce and swap in gluten-free noodles.
