Description

These irresistible Oreo Balls, made without cream cheese, offer a rich and decadent treat that’s perfect for any occasion. Combining crushed Oreos with sweetened condensed milk and coated in smooth melted chocolate, these easy-to-make dessert bites are ideal for parties, gatherings, or a sweet snack anytime. With a creamy interior and a crisp chocolate shell, they’re sure to be a crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients

2 cups crushed Oreo cookies (about 1820 cookies)

1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (or any chocolate you prefer)

1 tablespoon vegetable oil (optional, for a smoother chocolate coating)

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreos: Place the Oreo cookies in a food processor and pulse until finely crushed. Alternatively, place the cookies in a sealed plastic bag and crush with a rolling pin.
  2. Mix with Sweetened Condensed Milk: In a medium bowl, combine the crushed Oreos with the sweetened condensed milk. Mix until well combined and a dough forms.
  3. Form the Balls: Scoop out tablespoon-sized portions of the mixture and roll into balls. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Chill: Refrigerate the Oreo balls for at least 30 minutes, or until firm.
  5. Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and vegetable oil (if using). Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval, until completely melted and smooth.
  6. Coat the Oreo Balls: Using a fork or dipping tool, dip each chilled Oreo ball into the melted chocolate, allowing any excess chocolate to drip off. Place the coated balls back onto the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. Let Set: Refrigerate the coated Oreo balls for another 15-20 minutes, or until the chocolate is set.
  8. Serve: Enjoy these delicious Oreo Balls as a sweet treat or dessert. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Notes

Chocolate Variety: Feel free to use milk, dark, or white chocolate for coating, depending on your preference.

Vegetable Oil: Adding vegetable oil to the melted chocolate will make it smoother and easier to coat.
