1/2 cup (100 g) granulated sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup (120 ml) whole milk
4 tbsp (60 g) unsalted butter, melted

- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Prepare the Filling:
- In a large bowl, mix peaches, sugars, lemon juice, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg (if using), and cornstarch. Spread evenly in the prepared dish.
- Make the Topping:
- In a medium bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk and melted butter until smooth. Drop spoonfuls of the batter over the peach mixture, leaving some areas exposed.
