Served over fettuccine pasta, this dish is perfect for an elegant dinner or a comforting weeknight meal. Ready in just 35 minutes, it’s sure to impress with its creamy texture and bold flavors. Ideal for those who crave a blend of seafood and creamy pasta in one delicious bite.

Ingredients

8 oz fettuccine pasta

2 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each), cut into bite-sized pieces

1/2 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 cup unsalted butter

1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon paprika

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Lemon wedges, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Prepare the fettuccine according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Cook the Salmon: Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season the salmon with salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
  3. Cook the Shrimp: In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside with the salmon.
  4. Make the Alfredo Sauce: In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring constantly, and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until it begins to thicken. Gradually add the Parmesan cheese, stirring until the sauce is smooth. Season with additional salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Combine with Pasta and Seafood: Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet, tossing to coat with the Alfredo sauce. Gently fold in the cooked salmon and shrimp until everything is well combined.
  6. Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle chopped parsley over the top and serve with lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

Customization: You can replace the shrimp or salmon with other seafood like scallops or cod, or even grilled chicken for a different variation.

Make-Ahead: The salmon and shrimp can be cooked ahead of time and stored separately in the fridge. Reheat before serving with fresh Alfredo sauce.

Richness: For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half or use a lower-fat Parmesan cheese.

Flavor Tip: A squeeze of fresh lemon juice over the dish just before serving brightens up the flavors and adds a zesty finish.
