Ingredients

2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 packet (1 oz) dry ranch seasoning mix

1 packet (0.87 oz) chicken gravy mix

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup

1 cup low-sodium chicken broth

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon unsalted butter


Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle ranch seasoning, chicken gravy mix, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper over the chicken.
  3. Pour in the cream of chicken soup and chicken broth, and stir gently to combine.
  4. Place the tablespoon of butter on top of the chicken.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender.
  6. Once the chicken is cooked, shred it with two forks and stir to mix with the gravy.
  7. Serve the chicken and gravy over mashed potatoes, rice, or biscuits.

Notes

For added flavor, try incorporating fresh herbs like thyme or rosemary.

Swap chicken breasts for thighs for a richer taste.

To thicken the gravy, add a cornstarch-water mixture in the last 30 minutes of cooking.

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days or frozen for 2-3 months.
