Description

Indulge in these spooky, rich, and fudgy Spider Web Halloween Brownies, perfect for Halloween gatherings. Made with a simple spider web design, these brownies are a festive treat that’s easy to make and sure to delight party guests of all ages.

Ingredients

For the Brownies:

1/2 cup melted butter (or coconut oil for dairy-free)

1 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/3 cup cocoa powder

1/2 cup all-purpose flour (or gluten-free flour for gluten-free version)

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon baking powder

1/3 cup chocolate chips (optional)

For the Spider Web Decoration:

1/4 cup white chocolate or vanilla icing

12 drops black food coloring (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together melted butter and sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing until fully incorporated.
  3. Sift in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder, stirring gently until combined. Fold in chocolate chips if desired.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean.
  5. Allow brownies to cool completely in the pan before adding the spider web decoration.
  6. To decorate, melt the white chocolate and transfer it to a piping bag or squeeze bottle. Starting from the center, pipe thin circles on top of the brownies. Use a toothpick to drag lines from the center to the edges, creating a web effect.
  7. Cut into squares and serve your spooky treats!

Notes

For a dairy-free version, use coconut oil instead of butter.

For gluten-free brownies, substitute all-purpose flour with a gluten-free baking flour.

Add festive Halloween sprinkles on top for extra decoration.
