Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line two 9-inch round cake pans.
- Combine cake mix, buttermilk, vegetable oil, egg whites, and vanilla extract in a bowl. Beat until smooth.
- Divide batter between cake pans. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Cool completely.
- Prepare cheesecake: Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well.
- Bake cheesecake batter in a greased 8-inch pan at 325°F (163°C) for 40-45 minutes. Cool completely.
- For frosting: Beat butter until creamy. Gradually mix in powdered sugar, alternating with heavy cream. Add vanilla extract.
