Description

These 3-ingredient banana waffles are naturally sweet, fluffy, and made with just banana, eggs, and baking powder. They’re gluten-free, dairy-free, and perfect for a quick, healthy breakfast or snack.

Ingredients

1 ripe banana

2 eggs

1/4 teaspoon baking powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the waffle iron and lightly grease it if needed.
  2. Mash the ripe banana in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs and baking powder to the banana and whisk until well combined.
  4. Pour the batter into the preheated waffle iron and spread it evenly.
  5. Close the lid and cook for 3–5 minutes or until the waffles are golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Carefully remove the waffles and serve warm with desired toppings.

Notes

Add a dash of cinnamon or vanilla extract for extra flavor.

Mix in a tablespoon of protein powder or nut butter for a protein boost.

Add dark chocolate chips or chopped nuts for an indulgent touch.

Use a mini waffle iron to make kid-friendly mini waffles.

Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze with parchment between layers.

Reheat in a toaster or skillet to restore crispiness.
