Description

This Air Fryer Cheesy Tortilla Garlic Bread is a quick and satisfying twist on classic garlic bread, made with crispy flour tortillas, melty cheese, and garlicky butter. Perfect as a snack, appetizer, or side dish in under 15 minutes.


Ingredients

2 large flour tortillas

2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon dried oregano

1/4 teaspoon dried parsley

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese

Salt to taste

Optional: crushed red pepper flakes for heat


Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, garlic powder, oregano, parsley, and a pinch of salt.
  3. Lay the tortillas flat and brush both sides with the garlic butter mixture.
  4. Sprinkle mozzarella and parmesan cheese evenly over one tortilla. Add crushed red pepper flakes if desired.
  5. Place the second tortilla on top to form a sandwich.
  6. Carefully transfer the tortilla stack to the air fryer basket.
  7. Air fry for 4 to 6 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  8. Let cool slightly, slice into wedges, and serve.

Notes

Add protein like pepperoni, bacon, or shredded chicken for a heartier version.

Use different cheeses such as cheddar, Monterey Jack, or fontina for variety.
