Ingredients
1 4-pound fryer chicken, cut into 10 pieces
1 tsp kosher salt
1 tsp ground black pepper
2 cups buttermilk
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tbsp seasoned salt
1 tsp kosher salt
1 tsp ground black pepper
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp paprika
Spray olive oil
Instructions
- Season chicken with kosher salt and ground black pepper.
- Marinate chicken in buttermilk for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator.
- Mix flour, seasoned salt, kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika in a shallow dish.
- Coat chicken pieces in the flour mixture, shaking off excess.
- Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C). Lightly spray basket with olive oil.
- Arrange chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Spray chicken with olive oil.
- Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 14 minutes, flip, spray with oil, and fry for another 10-12 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
