Description

A quick and delicious flatbread recipe infused with garlic and herbs, made easily in the air fryer. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, perfect for dipping, pairing with meals, or enjoying as a snack.

Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 cup Greek yogurt

1 tablespoon baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

1 teaspoon dried oregano

¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Stir in the Greek yogurt until a dough forms.
  3. Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  4. Divide the dough into 6 equal portions and roll each into a ball.
  5. Use a rolling pin to flatten each ball into a round about ¼-inch thick.
  6. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, chopped parsley, oregano, and black pepper.
  7. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  8. Brush each flatbread with the garlic-herb oil mixture.
  9. Place flatbreads in the air fryer basket in a single layer without overlapping.
  10. Air fry for 5 to 7 minutes until golden and crisp.
  11. Let the flatbreads rest slightly before serving.

Notes

Sprinkle cheese like Parmesan or mozzarella for a cheesy variation.

Add red pepper flakes or chili oil for a spicy kick.

Use a 1:1 gluten-free flour blend to make it gluten-free.

Swap herbs with basil, thyme, or rosemary for different flavors.

For a sweet version, use melted butter and cinnamon sugar instead of garlic-herb oil.

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 2 days or in the fridge for 4 days.

Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F for 2-3 minutes or from frozen as needed.
