Crisp Topping:
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup old-fashioned oats
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
- Prepare the crust by mixing graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter. Press into the bottom of the pan.
- For the cheesecake filling, beat cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract. Pour over the crust.
- Combine chopped apples, sugar, and cinnamon for the apple topping. Spread over the cheesecake layer.
- Make the crisp topping by mixing flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and softened butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over the apples.
- Bake for 60-70 minutes until almost set, covering with foil if the top browns too much. Let cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
For best results, chill the cheesecake in the refrigerator overnight before serving.
Experiment with different types of apples for varying flavors and textures.
Serve with a dollop of whipped cream or a drizzle of caramel sauce for extra indulgence.
