Description
An elegant yet incredibly simple oven-baked salmon topped with creamy Garlic & Herb Boursin cheese and fresh lemon slices. This quick dish delivers rich flavor and a gourmet feel with minimal effort.
Ingredients
4 salmon fillets (6 oz each), skin on or off
1 (5.2 oz) package Boursin cheese (Garlic & Herb flavor)
1 tbsp olive oil
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
1 lemon, thinly sliced
Fresh parsley or chives, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat the salmon fillets dry and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or foil.
- Drizzle olive oil over the fillets and season lightly with salt and pepper.
- Spread about 2 tablespoons of Boursin cheese evenly over each salmon fillet.
- Place 1–2 thin lemon slices on top of each piece.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
- Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped parsley or chives before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, spread a thin layer of Dijon mustard under the Boursin before baking.
Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a subtle kick of heat.
You can substitute other Boursin flavors for variety.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheat gently at 300°F for 8–10 minutes to prevent drying out.
