Description

An elegant yet incredibly simple oven-baked salmon topped with creamy Garlic & Herb Boursin cheese and fresh lemon slices. This quick dish delivers rich flavor and a gourmet feel with minimal effort.


Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (6 oz each), skin on or off

1 (5.2 oz) package Boursin cheese (Garlic & Herb flavor)

1 tbsp olive oil

Salt, to taste

Black pepper, to taste

1 lemon, thinly sliced

Fresh parsley or chives, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or foil.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over the fillets and season lightly with salt and pepper.
  4. Spread about 2 tablespoons of Boursin cheese evenly over each salmon fillet.
  5. Place 1–2 thin lemon slices on top of each piece.
  6. Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  7. Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped parsley or chives before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, spread a thin layer of Dijon mustard under the Boursin before baking.

Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a subtle kick of heat.

You can substitute other Boursin flavors for variety.

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheat gently at 300°F for 8–10 minutes to prevent drying out.
