Ingredients
1 box (18.3 oz) fudge brownie mix (plus ingredients listed on the box: typically eggs, oil, and water)
1 1/2 cups creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13 inch baking dish with parchment paper or grease it lightly.
- Prepare the brownie batter according to the package directions, pour into the dish, and bake for 20–25 minutes or as directed. Let brownies cool completely.
- In a bowl, mix melted butter, creamy peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Spread the peanut butter layer evenly over the cooled brownie base and refrigerate while making the ganache.
- Microwave chocolate chips and heavy cream in 20-second intervals, stirring each time, until melted and smooth.
