Description

A cozy fusion of creamy white chocolate and warm chai spices, this Chai White Hot Chocolate is a luxurious twist on classic hot chocolate—perfect for chilly afternoons or quiet evenings.

Ingredients

1/2 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)

1/2 cup water

1 chai tea bag

1/4 cup white chocolate chips or chopped white chocolate

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Whipped cream (optional)

Ground cinnamon or nutmeg for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the milk and water. Heat until steaming but not boiling.
  2. Remove from heat and steep the chai tea bag in the hot mixture for 4–5 minutes, depending on desired strength.
  3. Remove the tea bag and return the pan to low heat. Add the white chocolate and stir until completely melted and smooth.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Pour into a mug and, if desired, top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg.

Notes

Use oat milk or almond milk for a dairy-free version.

For a stronger chai flavor, steep two tea bags instead of one.

Add a shot of espresso for a dirty chai version.

Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 2 days and reheat gently on the stovetop.

Use high-quality white chocolate for best results.
