Description

A hearty and comforting casserole that combines all the classic cheeseburger flavors—ground beef, cheddar cheese, pickles, ketchup, and mustard—topped with crispy golden French fries for an easy, crowd-pleasing dinner.


Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (or plant-based alternative)

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1 small onion, diced

1/2 cup ketchup

1 tbsp yellow mustard

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup chopped dill pickles

20 oz frozen French fries

1/4 cup sliced green onions (for topping)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and diced onion until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess grease.
  3. Stir in salt, pepper, ketchup, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Let simmer for about 2 minutes.
  4. Spread the beef mixture evenly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle chopped pickles over the beef, then top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  6. Spread frozen French fries evenly over the top.
  7. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until fries are golden and crispy.
  8. Remove from oven, sprinkle with green onions, and serve hot.
