Description

This Cheesy Crab Rangoon Dip combines the rich, creamy flavors of crab rangoon in a fun and easy-to-serve dip form. Loaded with crab meat, mozzarella, cheddar, and savory seasonings, it’s the perfect appetizer for parties, game days, or cozy nights. With a creamy base of cream cheese, mayonnaise, and sour cream, enhanced by garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and a touch of heat from red pepper flakes, this dip will be the star of any gathering.

Ingredients

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1/2 cup sour cream

1 1/2 cups crab meat, shredded (or imitation crab)

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 green onions, chopped

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 teaspoon lemon juice

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

1/4 cup chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, mayonnaise, and sour cream. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add the shredded crab meat, mozzarella cheese, cheddar cheese, minced garlic, chopped green onions, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, lemon juice, garlic powder, and black pepper. Stir until well combined.
  4. Pour the creamy mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and golden brown on top.
  6. Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped parsley and optional crushed red pepper flakes for added flavor and color.
  7. Serve hot with tortilla chips, crackers, or fresh veggies for dipping.

Notes

For a smoky twist, add crumbled cooked bacon to the dip before baking.

You can substitute imitation crab for real crab if desired.

Adjust the heat by adding more crushed red pepper flakes, diced jalapeños, or hot sauce.

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave.
