Description

Creamy Chicken Alfredo Casserole baked to perfection! This easy, cheesy dish combines tender chicken, pasta, and rich Alfredo sauce for a comforting family favorite.


Ingredients

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced

12 oz pasta (penne or rotini recommended)

2 cups Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

1 cup frozen peas (optional)

1 tbsp olive oil

1 clove garlic, minced

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

1/4 tsp Italian seasoning

1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (optional garnish)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook pasta to al dente per package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add chicken, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning to the skillet. Cook for 2 minutes.
  5. In a mixing bowl, combine pasta, Alfredo sauce, chicken mixture, and peas (if using). Stir well.
  6. Transfer mixture to the baking dish. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Cool for 5 minutes, garnish with parsley, and serve.

Notes

For extra creaminess, mix in 1/4 cup cream cheese.

Use gluten-free pasta for a gluten-free version.

To add a spicy kick, include red pepper flakes.
