Ingredients

1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

1 large egg

2 tbsp granulated sugar

¼ cup cinnamon sugar

3 tbsp melted butter

1 tbsp baking powder

¼ cup cream cheese frosting

1 ¼ cups milk

1 tsp vanilla extract

½ tsp salt


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, beat the egg and then mix in milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  3. Gently fold the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined. The batter should be slightly lumpy.
  4. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it.
  5. Pour ¼ cup of batter onto the skillet.
  6. Sprinkle a small amount of cinnamon sugar on top of the batter. Add a dollop of cream cheese frosting in the center and cover with a little more batter.
