1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup whole milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon lemon zest
1 1/2 cups lemon pie filling or lemon curd
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)
Instructions

- Stir in the milk, vanilla extract, lemon zest, and lemon juice until a smooth batter forms.
- Pour the batter evenly over the melted butter in the baking dish without stirring.
- Spoon the lemon pie filling or lemon curd evenly over the batter, allowing it to sit on top without mixing.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes, until the top is golden brown and the edges are bubbling.
- Let cool for at least 15 minutes before serving.
- Dust with powdered sugar if desired and serve warm, optionally with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
